Most visitors are surprised to learn that there is a leper hospital a few miles away at Fontilles. They are even more surprised to find it is a lovely location, and beautiful grounds. Afterwards we took Clive and Jane for a drive up the steep and winding road to the view point on the col de rates. Jane kept her eyes closed both going up and coming back down.
