3 Mar 2008 - 2000 Steps Plus

We have Peter to thank for this wonderful walk, which is the most spectacular I have done here. The walk started from Benichembla, and followed 2000 steps down to the dry river and along to the point where you normally start to climb back to Benichembla. Today we went on for about half an hour, and ended at the bottom of Branco Inferno.

It was like being in a huge cave, and as you can see from the photographs it was very, very impressive. We then made our way back, climbed uphill to join the 2000 Steps and ended back at the cars near the bar in Benichembla.

A really excellent walk, which we would love to do again.
