The first Monday Club walk of the year was this old favourite to the Montgo Iberian Settlements. Its a good walk as it includes woods, a short climb and lovely views. Really excellent views for little effort. But it is shorted than our normal walks, and Pat added an extension at the end, which increased the climbing element!
We met up with our tame dog again. He belongs to a house near the walk, and obviously enjoys the company of walkers. He always joins us near his house, does the walk with us and returns home when we get back to the cars. He is no trouble, not even during our picnic stop.
